200+ LIVE DAPHNIA
You will receive at least 200 very active freshwater Daphnia and Moina from a healthy, established mini-pond culture. In dense areas of the culture water there may be as many as 300–400 individuals.
The culture water also contains beneficial microfauna and detritus worms that are part of a natural micro-ecosystem. Only beneficial organisms are present. The culture is not exposed to fish and is regularly inspected to prevent pests such as planaria or parasites.
The video was recorded from this exact culture and shows the same active daphnia you will receive. It was not altered in any way. They are indeed that active. The video shows primarily Daphnia however I ship both Daphnia and Moina. It's a healthy mix of babies, teens, and full size adults. The last photo is very similar to the amount you will receive in a sealed pouch within a 2 oz cup. Way more than necessary to get permanently established in your planted freshwater aquarium.

DOA (Dead on arrival) Policy:
Must show video of non moving Daphnia and Moina within 1 hour of arrival for full refund. Good insulation is included and they can survive later retrieval in most situations, but DOA is void if chosen to not retrieve and check status of Daphnia and Moina in a timely manner.
